Synopsis: Reading of The Merchant of Venice with most of the the original cast of Richard Monette’s 2001 stage production for the Stratford (Ontario) Shakespeare Festival. Paul Soles is Shylock. The Stratford production was dedicated to Al Waxman who was cast as Shylock but died shortly before rehearsals began.
