Top of the Town

Synopsis
Musical set in Manhattan. An heiress plans a ballet in the famous Moonbeam ballroom located on the top of a 100-storey skyscraper. Extravagantly produced and a huge flop. Includes a scene in a nightclub in which ‘Mischa Auer, costumed as Hamlet (and looking amazingly like Conrad Veidt), recites ‘to be or not to be’ soliloquy with an uncredited actor’s dubbed voice’. [IMDb User Comment 27 May 2005].
