- Synopsis
- Feature film. In this giallo a young opera singer, Betty (Marsillach) gets her big chance to sing Lady Macbeth when the previous star of an avant garde production of Verdi’s Macbeth breaks her leg. Convinced the opera is bad luck she accepts, and becomes the target of a psychopath - a man she has been dreaming of since childhood - who forces her to watch the brutal killing of his victims. Several scenes from Verdi’s opera are included and there are references to the curse of the play.
