Naked Frailties
- Synopsis
- Independent feature film made by students and staff at Red Deer College in Alberta. Ross, a student actor, receives a head injury after a stage fight. The director, Mr Stuart, assigns the part of Macbeth to Benj, his friend and the part of Lady Macbeth to Helen rather than to Ross’ girlfriend, Liz. Liz forms a plan to ensure Mr Stuart will not keep his job, while Ross has hallucinations in which three witches predict that he will undertake the role of Macbeth. Ross and Liz secure their roles but afterwards they are wracked with guilt and descend into madness.
