Rock Concert
- Synopsis
- Canadian comedy sketch show. The premise is that SCTV (Second City Television) is the television station for the city of Melonville. Rather than broadcast the usual TV re-run fare, the business, run by the avaricious Guy Caballero (Flaherty) puts on a bizarre and incompetent range of cheap local programming. This episode, in a spoof of ‘Masterpiece Theatre’ includes a sketch ‘Promo:Masterpiece Theatre: Burlington Central Library’. Flaherty, as Alistair Cooke, promotes the Burlington Central Library production of Hamlet and shows a clip.
