- Synopsis
- Radio play written by Timberlake Wertenbaker and directed by Ned Chaillet. Five-scene drama involving courting couples in various stages of life. The scene entitled ‘Summer’ rewrites the wooing scene of Shakespeare’s Henry V. In Wertenbaker’s version Michael Maloney plays an English actor who plays the part of Henry in a theatre in Paris. Harriet Walter plays Catherine, a young Frenchwoman.
