Macbeth Remixed
- Synopsis
- Five-part radio series comparing the known historical facts about Macbeth with Shakespeare’s dramatisation. Produced in Inverness 950 years after the death of the 11th century Scottish king, the series tries to uncover something about Macbeth the man, his real-life wife, the myth of the witches and the true and fictional locations of Shakespeare’s Scottish play. In this series, the ‘real’ Macbeth (Liam Brennan), whose role was written by Chris Dolan, is resurrected to comment on the investigative contributions made by Nick Aitchinson, Alex Woolf, Molly Rorke, David Munro and James Taylor.
