Synopsis

CD ROM providing a visual and educational insight into Shakespeare’s life in Elizabethan England. Illustrated with photographs of buildings (aerial and ground shots) in and around Stratford-upon-Avon with which Shakespeare was associated. There are also aerial photographs of the reconstructed Globe Theatre. The text of Macbeth is reproduced in full with photographs to highlight the area for each scene. Includes notes on words and phrases from the play by Victorian scholars Charles and Mary Cowden Clarke.
