- Radio broadcast. As part of a series of 26 weekly programmes "designed as an anthology of the best-known and best-loved speeches and scenes" from Shakespeare’s better known plays, this episode (23) showcases ‘the best of’ Henry VIII. Malcolm Keen performs the scene of Cardinal Wolsey’s downfall while Edith Evans recreates her Old Vic performance of 1958 as Queen Katherine.
