Synopsis
A thirteen-part television series, presented by Richard Ouzounian, on the history of the Stratford (Ontario) Shakespeare Festival. Episode 5 looks at artistic director Robin Phillips who brought an array of British actors and actresses to the Festival resulting in box office success. Includes interviews with Robin Phillips, Brian Bedford, Maggie Smith, Martha Henry, Andrea Martin and Barry McGregor. Phillips explains his vision for Stratford and Maggie Smith and Bedford recall how Phillips first approached them.
