- A weekday morning show of news and human interest stories with interviews hosted by Peter Gzowski. In this edition Northrop Frye, author of the book Northrop Frye on Shakespeare, talks about his reputation, his youth, the influence of Shakespeare on us today and his relevance to the 20th century. He clarifies his ideas that Hamlet was central to the understanding of the 19th century, King Lear is an expression of the late 20th century and Antony and Cleopatra exemplifies the world towards which we are going. He also talks about his work as a literary critic.
