Synopsis

German actress Senta Berger moderates a literary and musical exploration about the identity of Shakespeare’s Dark Lady in the third concert in the ‘Mittwochs um halb acht’ (Wednesdays at 7.30) series of concerts relayed live from the Prinzegententheater in Munich. The Munich Rundfunkorchester (broadcasting orchestra), directed by Ulf Schirmer, plays music from William Walton’s music for AS YOU LIKE IT, Dvorak’s Othello overture, Verdi’s Macbeth, as well as Tchaikovsky’s and Berlioz’s music for Romeo and Juliet.
