- Three-part schools broadcast of Julius Caesar arranged by Douglas Alan. The introductory programme relates the plot and characters of Shakespeare’s play with the current situation in Nazi Germany and the Fuehrer’s rise to power. This is followed by two dramatic readings of Shakespeare’s play in which J. Hubert Leslie is Caesar, Carleton Hobbs is Cassius and Eric Lugg acts as Brutus.
