Take on Craig
- Synopsis
- BBC television arts series. Programme, in two parts, about the ideas of the English scene designer, producer and actor Edward Gordon Craig. The first part is a dialogue between Craig (spoken by Donald Eccles) and Alan Dobie as the actor or playgoer he sought to persuade. In Part 2 Craig’s ideas on scenic design are put into practice. One of his essays is illustrated by extracts from Macbeth, produced in terms of Craig’s theories.
