Reviews
In ‘The Art of the Radio Actor’, the correspondent for The Times felt that this production came across "as a verse reading, with much of its generosity of emotion submerged under a nobly misguided determination to make every syllable pull its weight" (19 April 1960, p. 14).
R. D. Smith writes on the problems of adapting this play for broadcasting in ‘Antony and Cleopatra’, Radio Times, 25 March 1960, p. 7
