- Synopsis
- Radio version of Shakespeare’s tragedy adapted by Cynthia Pughe and produced for broadcasting by Val Gielgud. With June Tobin and Gabriel Woolf in the lead and Marius Goring as Mercutio. The music is drawn from Tchaikovsky’s Fantasia and is specially devised by John Hollingsworth, who also conducts the BBC Concert Orchestra.
