Synopsis
Radio talk show. As part of the general conversation programme, host Libby Purves interviews Cicely Berry, voice director of the Royal Shakespeare Company,about body language, her Shakespeare workshop experiences worldwide, and the role of language and rhythm in contemporary theatre. For Berry, the first aim of theatre is to make people listen to language and provoke them into thought rather than violence. Other guests are Paul Zenon, Jim Riordan and Soweto Kinch.
