First episode in a five-part series of selected readings from John Gielgud’s correspondences through the decades. The episode focuses on Gielgud playing the lead in the 1936 production of Hamlet on Broadway. Richard Mangan, who edited the letters, narrates, and Derek Jacobi reads.
