Synopsis
Documentary. Starting with the annual Shakespeare birthday celebrations in Stratford, when international representatives unfurl their national flags, traces the life of Shakespeare from his mother’s farmhouse in Wilmcote, to his birthplace, through to his death at New Place and burial in Holy Trinity Church. The commentator is Anthony Quayle.
