Front Row [11/03/2010]
- Synopsis
- As part of the radio arts review programme, presenter John Wilson reports on Bristol Old Vic’s production of Juliet and Her Romeo, directed by Tom Morris. Developed since 1997 in collaboration with producer Sean O’Connor, the production uses Shakespeare’s text, but casts Shakespeare’s lovers in their 80s, with their anxious children, not their parents, seeking to prevent an imprudent and costly match.
