Run Away Little Boy
- Synopsis
- Sitcom about the lives of single mother Lorelai Gilmore (Graham) and her daughter Rory (Bledel) in a small-town community in Connecticut. In this episode Rory’s school class is told to divide into five groups, each of which will interpret and stage a different act from Romeo and Juliet. Interpretations range from the classic approach in the final act, to a cavemen version of Act 2 and Act 3 invoking business men with mobile ‘phones. The original text is heard only in brief rehearsal and performance scenes of Romeo’s death. [With acknowledgment to Zoran Sinobad, Library of Congress for the description].
