Lear’s Daughters

Synopsis
Video recording of the work devised by Elaine Feinstein and directed by David K.S. Tse. Three young girls, isolated from parents who are absent due to their jobs, are cared for by a Nanny who gives them security by feeding them with myths. These prove facile when adolescence imposes boundaries on their growth and fulfilment. The play explores innocence turned to tragic cynicism, the naivety of childhood turned to despair.
