History: The theatre production was first performed at the egg (Theatre Royal Bath) in July 2008. The production went on tour in the UK in 2009.

The raw energy of the cast was so invigorating, and the transposition of the ‘Macbeth’ plot to the streets, amidst knife attacks and contemporary gang and drug culture, felt as relevant as ‘West Side Story’ must have done when it opened.
