Hamlet - The Music Video
- Synopsis
- Mashup. A parody of Olivier’s HAMLET (1948) and the plot of the play. Scottish folksinger Adam McNaughton’s song ‘Oor Hamlet’ outlines the main plot points of Hamlet, gently highlighting its implausibilities, concluding with the pay-off line, "If you think that was boring, you should see the bloody play". Video editor Laurence Campling plays and sings the song in a folksy style, edited to extracts from Olivier’s 1948 film.
