Synopsis
The Royal Shakespeare Company’s 2012 production of Julius Caesar directed for television by Gregory Doran. An all-black British cast includes Ray Fearon as Mark Antony and Joseph Paterson as Brutus. The action is transposed to modern Africa.

A DVD was released 2012. The extras include ‘The Making of Julius Caesar’, a 40-minute documentary featuring interviews with cast and production team.
History
The stage production ran in repertory 27 May - 7 July 2012. This stage recording is catalogued separately. The recording for television was filmed way mid-way through rehearsals for the stage opening.
