- Second in a series of four programmes, presented by Penny Gore, featuring music written for Shakespeare’s plays. The BBC Symphony Orchestra is joined by actors live at the Maida Vale Studios in incidental music by three contrasting composers united by Shakespeare. Also included: the apprentice piece by Arthur Sullivan on The Tempest and Serge Prokofiev’s ballet music for Romeo and Juliet.
