- The play was originally broadcast on the BBC World Service in two parts . Part 1 went out on 21 Nov 1981 (repeated on the 22 Nov) and Part 2 on 28 Nov 1981 (rep. 29 Nov), each part just under 1 hour. It was later issued on BBC Transcription Disc in the series ‘World Theatre’ (no. 297).
