Much Ado About Murder
- Synopsis
- Television comedy drama. A Hollywood film star is playing the lead in a New York stage production of Hamlet. While rehearsing the ‘To be or not to be’ soliloquy he is stabbed in the neck with a quill. It later emerges that he was negotiating to get the life rights of a notorious Mexican gangster who is a fan of Shakespeare’s plays, especially ‘Macbeth’ and ‘King Lear’ though he is likened to ‘Richard III’ by Castle, the investigator. Castle later speculates that the gangster is caught up in machinations resembling ‘Hamlet’ as the man’s brother is trying to overthrow him and is sleeping with his wife.
