Synopsis
As part of the Shakespeare 400 celebrations, Professor Russ McDonald explores how Shakespeare’s work has influenced composers. He focuses on Dvorak’s Othello overture which was performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall in February 2016.

Professor McDonald is Professor of English Literature at Goldsmith’s, University of London.
