Synopsis
An operatic adaptation of "Romeo and Juliet" by the Charles Gounod. The opera tells the story of Shakespeare’s famous tragedy over five acts and was first performed in 1859. Placido Domingo conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and the Metropolitan Opera Chorus in New York.
