Merry Wives of Windsor, The

Synopsis
The sixteenth in a weekly live stream project by Rob Myles to present all of Shakespeare’s plays in the order in which it is thought they were originally written. Using the Zoom video conferencing platform, it brings together many actors currently unable to travel and perform due to the Coronavirus crisis. The video is prefaced by a few words on Pride from actor, Victoria Rae Sook.

The performance is introduced by Jenn Deon, producing artistic director of PerSIStence Theatre in Canada. She discusses why some consider it the least of Shakespeare’s comedies.
