Podcast. The director Frannie Shepherd-Bates talks to Barbara Bogaev about the forthcoming book, Richard III - In Prison: A Critical Edition, which brings together the original text with the ideas and perspectives of the female inmates from the Huron Valley Correctional Facility who participated in the staging of Richard III as part of the ‘Shakespeare in Prison’ project in 2016 and 2017. This is the first critical edition of a Shakespeare play written by incarcerated people.
