Synopsis
Radio broadcast of this 2021 revival (directed by Daniel Dooner) of Phyllida Lloyd’s 2002 production of Verdi’s Macbeth. Simon Keenlyside stars in the title role, with Anna Pirozzi as Lady Macbeth. The broadcast is presented by Martin Handley and includes contributions from Sarah Hibberd (University of Bristol), Keenlyside and the conductor for the performance, Daniele Rustioni.
