Synopsis
Italian TV version of the celebrated 1956 stage production by Vittorio Gassman of Shakespeare’s tragedy, translated into Italian by Salvatore Quasimodo. Gassman and Salvo Randone had originally alternated the roles of Othello and Iago on the stage but for the TV version Gassman performed the title role.
