Bankole Timothy was a presenter on the ‘New Commonwealth’ versions of London Line (1964-1978), a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information [qv] for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office [qv]. These editions were shown in countries which had recently joined the Commonwealth, primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. He appeared in one of the earlier issues, ‘Power Boat Special Awards’ London Line No.220, released in 1969.
