Summary
Australian airmen and soldiers march along the Strand to attend commemoration service at St Martin’s in the Field on Australia Day. On this day also the Duke of Gloucester took up his position as the new Australian Governor-General and pictures taken at Barnwell Castle, Northants, show the Duke with his family prior to their departure.
