Summary
Churchill, Attlee, Montgomery and Eden on saluting base during march past of service contingents in Berlin. Churchill wears RAF uniform. Black marketeering takes place and American and Russian soldiers barter with civilians for cameras, watches, etc. in exchange for money, cigarettes, etc. ATS girls go sightseeing in the city where they visit Hitler’s Chancellery and collect a few souvenirs by chipping bits off Hitler’s desk. A German woman shows her food ration of black bread, carrots and dehydrated potatoes. The Big Three Conference in Potsdam is underway attended by Mr Churchill, President Truman and Generalissimo Stalin. Afterwards at a dinner party given by Mr Churchill the three are seen with linked arms in Auld Lang Syne style.
