Summary
High Court scenes in Paris as 89 year old Marshal Petain faces trial for treason. Chief Prosecutor is 72 year old Andre Mornet and many French politicians are in the crowded court, among them Paul Reynaud, Michel Clemenceau and M Le Brun. Petain refused to acknowledge the court’s authority and in a firm voice read a statement and then refused to speak any further.
