- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: HMS "Courageous" Sunk. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Navy suffers its first tragic loss with the sinking of the aircraft carrier "Courageous". The ship was a victim of a German U-boat and sank in twenty minutes. SHOTLIST: Various library scenes of the aircraft carrier "Courageous" including a shot of the King going aboard and inspecting ratings on one of the hangars during the Reserve Fleet inspection. Also shot of submarine unknown.
