MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Red Cross Steeplechase. DESCRIPTION: The Red Cross Steeplechase at Leopardstown is won by ‘Jack Chaucer’. SHOTLIST: The entrants parade including "Royal Danieli", "Southern Hero" and "Rockquilla". Miss Paget’s "Le Cygne" falls at the first jump and Eric Foley the jockey breaks a leg. "Knockadroleen" leads but "Jack Chaucer" and "Sterling Duke" go ahead the former to win. Mr Eagan his owner, leads him in.
