- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lord Athlone in Canada. DESCRIPTION: Lord Athlone and Princess Alice arrive in Ottawa and he is sworn in as Governor General. SHOTLIST: Lord Athlone and Princess Alice arrive by train and are greeted by Mackenzie King. They go by car to the Parliament Hill where the Guard is inspected. At the foot of the Peace Tower they pose with Senator Raoul Dandurand. Then they go to Parliament Buildings where the Swearing-in Ceremony takes place. They then go to the Governor’s residence where Lord Athlone is interviewed.
