- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Kids Arrive in Canada. DESCRIPTION: Seavacs arrive in New York en route for friendly homes for the duration of the war. SHOTLIST: British children, some from St Hilda’s School, Yorkshire, arrive in Canada. Red Cross workers give out refreshments. Various shots of the children with nurses, with their pets and toys and finally leaving for their train. British Kids Arrive In America - CARD 39356 Seventy-one children, the first large group of thousands of the English children who are brought to the USA for the duration arrive on board the W Star Liner "Scythia". Shots of children waving at the Statue of Liberty - passing New York skyline and one of the boys talks.
