MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: St Helena. DESCRIPTION: The island in the South Atlantic once the prison of Napoleon prepares for war. SHOTLIST: Useful library material for filing. General shots showing the capital (Jamestown) approached from the sea - in the garrison fort showing British service officers - the famous Jacob’s Ladder, a stairway of 700 steps and Jamestown as seen from the hills inland. Naval officers are shown visiting the tomb of Napoleon and Napoleon’s house. The French tricolour is seen flying at Half Mast owing to the French Capitulation.
