Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Somaliland Withdrawal. DESCRIPTION: A fleet leaves Aden to evacuate troops and citizens from Berbera, British Somaliland. SHOTLIST: The cameraman sails with the Fleet which convoys the troopships. Arrival of Berbera. The troops file aboard carrying their wounded. The Governor goes aboard with his dog. The natives file aboard. The convoy leaves and behind are the fires started by our forces before withdrawal. The Fleet bombards. The convoy is disembarked and the last scene is the flaming Berbera across the Gulf Of Aden. People evacuated.
