MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: City Fire Raid - Fire of London 1940. DESCRIPTION: Sunday night the twenty ninth of December thousands of incendiaries fell on the City of London. SHOTLIST: Shots from the top of St Paul’s showing the terrific conflagration below. Next morning the clearing up - Historic churches, the Guildhall and countless other famous buildings have been ruined. Night shots of the fire. Also the falling wall shots. Ruins - but no clearing up in reel.
