MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: London’s War Weapons’ Week Opens. DESCRIPTION: The aim is to raise a hundred million pounds for the war weapons fund. SHOTLIST: Lord Kindersley, Lord Mottistone and Sir Albert Clavering review and inspect the various cars which have bombs on the top and which will take part in the procession. At the Mansion House, the Lord Mayor accepts a cheque for £5,000,000 from the Prudential. Also a massed band section which was not used.
