MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Parachute From Devils Tower. DESCRIPTION: George Hopkins caused a sensation in America when he made a parachute leap onto the Devil’s Tower Rock in Wyoming. He then had to be rescued from the top. SHOTLIST: George Hopkins who served in the Dunkirk Evacuation, jumps by parachute on the Devils Tower in Wyoming, for publicity. A plane drops food to him when he realises he can’t get down. Cameraman Ned Perrigoue films the descent by expert mountaineers with George Hopkins.
