- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: Few things in this life give off such a delicious aroma as newly made bread. Deep in the heart of Suffolk there remains one of the last places where the bread is baked in a faggot oven [at Ye Olde Bakery in Long Melford, Suffolk]. The wood burns first, rapidly heating the oven’s stone-flagged floor, which remains hot long enough to bake two hundred hot, crusty, nutty-flavoured, mouth-watering loaves.
