- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: Wales, where the rocks are rugged and the slate quarrymen carve a terraced beauty out of the stone that was formed by pre-historic pressures when the young world flexed its mountainous muscles for the first time. Here, at Penrhyn, near Bangor, you find craftsmanship - and apparatus officially preserved as ancient industrial monuments because, efficient though it is, it hardly seems to belong to this day and age.
