Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mobile Bath Unit (Western Desert). DESCRIPTION: Almost as welcome as a food convoy in the Western Desert is the arrival of the Mobile Bath Unit. SHOTLIST: Men of the Army, Air Force and Fleet Air Arm, go to the Mobile Bath Unit which is able to supply 2,000 showers per day. Another feature of the unit is the "Disenfestor" in which the mens’ clothes are placed while they take their showers, which are worked by pumps and mobile boilers. The shots show troops going over the desert, lining-up for showers and undressing. Then the men receive back their clothes and leave the unit, which is situated under the shadow of a palm tree.
